This is a high good quality of two Victorian ladies, Louisa (1817 - 1868) and Menie Campbell (1820 - 1899), daughters of Sir James Callender (later Campbell), of Craigforth and Ardkinglas 1744 - 1831 from his fith marriage.
The work is housed in a what appears to be the original early Victorian frame and retains lots of original labels on the reverse including the artists label which sadly is unreadable.
