This is a high quality oil on canvas attributed to Georg Chritoph Van Bemmel 1765 - 1811, the painting has an old gallery label on the reverse with this atteribution. Not a lot is known about Van Bemmel, although his paintings appear regularly at auction. The painting is very good quality but has been relined, approx 20/30 years ago.

The painting is in very good condition and ready to hang.

The frame has seen better days and has extensive chipping to the gilt but is other wise ready to hang.
