Three Men of the Turf by Nicholas Tolley B1958

Since graduating from art school in 1980, Nicholas Tolley has been a prolific painter of the human form. Originally centred on the world of racing, his work ranges from portraiture to crowd scenes, from caricature to expressionism.

He now concentrates on human portraits and has painted many well-known figures including works owned by Sheikh Mohammed, Lord McAlpine, Lord Weinstock, Sir Thomas Pilkington, Lady Tavistock, Charles Wacker III, Lord Grimthorpe, Sir Micheal Stoute, Robert Sangster, Sir Peter O'Sullivan, Ronnie Corbett, Lester Piggott and many others.
